Who doesn’t want a firm, round butt?
I know I do!
There are many butt exercises out there that are great to help grow you gluteus maximus, but the following 5 are my favorite.
If you want to grow your booty and get that nice round peach shape, try these 5 exercises. The only equipment you will need is a floor mat.
Video and the end of this post!
I recommend doing a warm up first and doing 3 sets of 15 reps for each butt exercise move. This workout is great to do alone or to include as an add-on to your regular workout routine.
Curtsy Lunge
In a standing position, with your right leg take a big step back and cross behind your left leg. Lower your body into a lunge position until your left thigh is parallel to the floor. Raise your body back up and return to the starting position. Repeat on the left leg. Alternate each leg for a total of 15 reps.
Reverse Lunge
Similar to the curtsy lunge, take you right leg and take a big step straight back. Lower your body into a lunge position until your left thigh is parallel to the floor. Raise your body back up and return to the starting position. Repeat on the left leg. Alternate each leg for a total of 15 reps.
Donkey Kick
Grab your mat. Get on your hands and knees, and have your back straight. With your right leg bent, raise it up into the air with your foot facing the ceiling. Lower your leg into the starting position. Do a total of 15 reps. Repeat on the left leg.
Fire Hydrant
On your hand and knees, and with your back straight, take your right leg and lift up to the side. Lower your leg back down into the starting position. Do a total of 15 reps. Repeat on the left leg.
Bridges
Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Lift your hips straight up as high as you can while squeezing your butt. Lower back down to the starting position. Do a total of 15 reps.
