Contrary to popular belief, YES, you can lose weight without exercise by simply eating healthy and eating right.
What does that mean exactly?
Well, eating healthy and eating right is nothing new. We are constantly bombarded with commercials, ads, videos, and articles about what foods to eat and what foods not to eat.
People know what to do to eat healthy and right. The question is, are people willing to do it?
I don’t have any new information to share because it’s the same info you heard before.
Cut out foods rich in fats, butters, heavy creams and oils, fast food, sugary beverages, chips, candy, cake, and processed foods, and scale back on carbohydrates like white breads, pasta, and rice.
Instead, reach for fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, lean meats, seeds and nuts, whole grains, legumes, low-fat dairy, healthier cooking oils like olive, coconut, and avocado oil. Plus, drink a lot more water by aiming for at least 8 cups per day.

I am not one of those people.
However, I most definitely did exercise 6 days a week to lose 19 pounds in a just over 2 months. Today, I continue to workout at least 2-3 days per week to help maintain my weight.
You may not be a fan of exercising either, but truth be told, working out can help you to lose weight much faster because the concept is really simple:
Less calories in + more calories burned = FAT LOSS.
It’s a tried and true formula.
However, don’t think you have to slave away at an expensive gym to lose weight. Not true! I did a weight loss workout program at home that was affordable and the one I did was P90X.
FYI, the P90X is NOT easy and the workouts are LONG!
If you are up for the challenge, I say try out the P90X system.
On the other hand, if you are looking for a shorter workout program where you can still burn lots of fat, a high intensity interval training (HIIT) workout like Brett Horbel’s 20 Minute Body is ideal.
You don’t need any fancy gym equipment and you can do the workouts anywhere, which is great!
I love doing HIIT exercises and consider it the best workout routine for busy people because they’re quick and just as effective as working out for an hour or longer at the gym.

Want to lose weight even FASTER???
Lifting weights will help you to do just that and it’s truly one of the best ways to lose weight. That’s why men are able to lose weight much quicker than women because they strength train.
Women avoid strength training with weights because they fear they will bulk up like a man. However, this is a false belief.
Still, if you’re a woman and “bulking up” is a concern for you, simply lift lighter weights and do more repetitions.
See? There’s no excuse to not grab those dumbbells.
Strength training is not only a great way to burn fat calories and shed excess fat, but lifting weights can help transform your body.
Look up images of “before and after strength training” on Google to see what I’m talking about.
Best of all, you don’t need to have an expensive gym membership in order to strength train. To start, all you need to create your own home gym are some hand weights and/or kettlebells, along with a few pieces of basic gym equipment.
I have 3lbs, 5lbs, and 8lbs weights for my small home gym. However, it’s really time for me to up my weights to 10lbs and 12lbs-lol.
Meal planning WORKS!
Again, if you are too busy to cook or baffled over what kinds of meals that help you lose weight, the South Beach Diet is a perfect solution to eat healthier.
Otherwise, when cooking your meals, be sure to plan them out and track your calorie intake.
Counting calories may sound like a chore, but it worked like a gem to help me lose 19 pounds quickly and easily. The best way to monitor what you eat and how many calories you consume in a day is to jot everything down in a food journal.

Intermittent fasting is NOT a diet plan or a weight loss plan.
This is an eating habit or eating style that has become very popular today like the keto diet, which I tried and then eventually stopped. You can read all about why I stopped doing the keto diet.
Still, intermittent fasting makes the list for one of the best ways to lose weight because of the disciple that trains you to stop eating after a certain time.
Fasting is nothing new and it has been around for centuries. People fast for health and religious reasons, but it can also be used to help shed unwanted weight.
Whether you know it or not, you fast every, single day.
When you wake up in the morning and eat your first meal, you are breaking your fast from the last meal you ate the night before, which is why it is call breakfast (i.e. break…fast).
It’s just that the longer you can delay eating, the more you can reap the benefits from fasting to help you lose weight.
When I do intermittent fasting, I fast for 16 hours with an 8-hour window to eat my meals. For instance, I typically like to eat my first meal at 10:00am and eat my last meal at 5:00pm. My fasting would start at 6:00pm to give me the 16-hour fasting period.

Again, with intermittent fasting you are disciplining yourself to STOP putting food in your mouth after a specific time.
It is not required to restrict certain foods in order to lose weight with intermittent fasting since this is not a diet plan. However, if finding the best ways to lose weight is your goal, then make it a point to only eat meals that help you lose weight so you can achieve your goal quicker.
