With gas prices soaring at record highs and everything going up due to inflation, vacation plans for many people have to be put off until the following summer.
If that is the case for you and your family, have no fear!
You still can have a very fun and adventurous summer with friends and family. Simply look for activities that are low cost or even free that are local in your area.
Otherwise, if you do plan a vacation or a day trip, see if you can include friends and other families to help offset the cost of gas, parking, overnight accommodations, and food.
Below are 25 cheap summer activities that you can do that are local, inexpensive, and really fun.

If you want to make your summer even more exciting, make the ideas on this list as part of your summer bucket list.

I hope to inspire you to do the same!
